It was a sign! Actually ... I don't believe in any of that nonsense but it was kind of nice to discover that when we first moved to our new apartment, that we'd be welcomed by a pair of Great Cormorants on the little island in the Rideau River. I walk by them twice a day and often see them fishing. Unfortunately, even with my 2X TC on my 200, still not close enough and the picture is crap but it makes me smile whenever I see them.
